Domino came in for laminitis and pain management. He could barely walk and his feet had not been trimmed in years. Domino is a 16 year old appy pony. After veterinary assessment and rehabilitation plan discussed we decided to gradually remove hoof, place on a rigid diet and exercise plan and daily therapies for pain management. During his therapies it was discovered he had a cancerous spot that is now under veterinary care, as well as needing dental and vaccines that the veterinarian took care of here. 30 days later Domino is pain free and enjoying long desert walks with humans, he is well on his way to better hoof balance and health and is set up with continued veterinary and farrier care once he goes home.
